Special Lenses
Photochromic

Frequently Asked Questions
Which lens coating is most worth it?
Anti-reflective. It cuts glare from headlights and screens and sharpens night vision, so you feel it every day. A good AR coating usually includes scratch resistance too.
Do I need high-index lenses?
Only if your prescription is strong. High-index thins and lightens a strong lens, but for mild prescriptions standard lenses stay thin enough and cost less.
Are progressives worth it over bifocals?
For screen work and a line-free look, yes. Progressives add the middle distance bifocals miss. Bifocals give a wider reading zone at a lower price.
Is a blue light coating necessary?
No. There is no evidence it protects your eyes or reduces strain. The anti-reflective coating is what makes screen work more comfortable.
