Every common lens color with its light behavior, best use cases, and weak spots — one reference table instead of ten opinions.

The short answer: lens color changes how contrast and colors reach your eye — it does not change UV protection, which comes from the UV400 filter. Grey keeps the world true, brown sharpens it, green balances it, yellow brightens it. Pick by situation, then choose the frame.
